The truth is, there’s a lot going on lately, and I’m going to be busy this week preparing for LibrariCON in Fayetteville, NC. To all you Fayettevillains out there, come visit me and see my How to Draw Manga panel in the morning! This is actually one of those political chapters that is really more of a set-up for the next chapter. Still, it’s about 3,200 words longer than your average weekly webcomic, so I’m doing alright.

Just like chapters 2-4 formed the “Babylon Arc”, these coming chapters will form a larger “Nightmare Arc” concerning the Legion and its past…

I did a manga-style picture for this chapter. I’d like to start doing something like this each week–just because the black and white pictures go much better into the finished books.

Now that I’m here at work with a few spare moments, I can go ahead and upload them.

First, I have a wallpaper of Midland. He hasn’t been seen since the events at Babylon, so this will be a first glimpse of his new look. He seems much more mature than before. And a bit more intimidating. We can only presume that Carmine has had him formally trained in his absence, making him an even more deadly fighter…

Next is a guest artwork of Cosette done by my neighboring booth at Otakon. This was not done by the artist who was running that table, but an up-and-coming manga-ka with some really impressive penciling skills.

I’ve returned from Maryland at last! A good number of you may have made it past my humble booth in the convention center, and I’m grateful to everyone who took the time to listen to my pitch and take a card. Especial thanks to those who bought a book, poster, or card set.

On good advice, I raised my prices a bit from my original estimates in the post below. So if you were at the con, don’t feel conned–I charged everyone the same.

My bestselling product was the Anthology collection–which is a compilation of symphonies 1-4. I’ll be ordering up another batch to sell at the next con, so please look for them there! Second best selling was the first symphony single book, and tarot card set. It’s unfortunate that I only brought 3 sets of tarot cards. I will be sure to make more for the upcoming conventions, as they were a great promotional tool as well as a fun sale item.

All in all, I would consider the convention a success, though I still have a large amount of stock left to move at future conventions.

I probably will not have a story later on tonight, but I have done a lot of artwork for the series recently. I’ll see about posting some of it online when I get a chance. Right now, it’s cleaning, working (with my real job), and trying to set up www.lvl99games.com. I hope that everyone will come and check it out in the near future!
